Samsung Galaxy S21 leaks: 120Hz at QHD+ and 45w charging support!

Even though the launch of S21 series is pretty far from now at mid-January, rumours are already floating about Samsung‘s new flagship device. Some of the specifications of the phone have already been leaked by some reputed tipsters. They have pointed out that this will not be a huge upgrade over the S20 with Samsung shifting its main focus to the foldables. This is more of an improved version of the already excellent S20 series. In this article, we will be talking about some leaks about upcoming S21 series.

S21 seems to rectify some of the shortcomings of its predecessor. This is supposed to be the first Samsung phone to support 120Hz refresh rate at QHD+ resolution. Samsung is said to have made some substantial battery optimisations for the same. There was very little room for improvement in the camera front if there was any. Hence, S21 ultra will be featuring the all-new 108MP Samsung HM3 sensor which is an improved and larger image sensor. S21, S21+ and S21 ultra will have 3, 4 and 5 cameras respectively as per the leaks say.

Battery and Processor

S21 and S21+ have got their battery capacities bumped up to 4500 and 4800mAh respectively while the S21 ultra will retain the 5000mAh cell. These phones will rock new 5nm based Exynos and Snapdragon chipsets depending upon the region. This time, the Exynos one is even better than its Snapdragon counterpart. These phones will support 45w fast charging with no charger included in the box! Yes, you read it right, Samsung has once again followed the footsteps of Apple after mocking it a while ago.

If you were expecting an under-display camera tech this time, then its bad news for you. S21 series will have the same single-punch hole cutout but the screen size may increase. The recent renders which have been confirmed by some case manufacturers can be seen on the image above.
